QUALITY IS EVERYTHING

All our products use the finest, natural, clean ingredients with no added artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. Everything is handmade locally in small batches, from our slow cooked curry sauces to our hand roasted spice blends.

ALLERGEN FRIENDLY - NO GUNK!

We don’t use any shrimp pastes, dairy or fish sauce in our products making them safe for people with allergies or gluten intolerance. We’re committed to using clean ingredients so you can rest assured you’re feeding your family real, honest, and wholesome food without any fillers or nasties.

FOOD EVERYONE CAN ENJOY

We create food with families, kids, and lifestyle choices in mind. As such, we cater to all eaters - vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, nut free, and of course fussy little mouths. In fact, we’ve never met a mouth we couldn’t feed! Turban Chopsticks is good for big and little tummies.

LOCALLY SOURCED

We source all our fresh ingredients from local WA farmers, including the onion, basil, coriander, and tomatoes. Our Lupin flakes come from the South West region of WA. Branding and packaging design by our local mates at Dessein. When you shop with Turban Chopsticks, you’re not just supporting our local business, you’re supporting the local businesses of our amazing suppliers.

THE MAKING OF TURBAN CHOPSTICKS: OUR PRODUCTION PROCESS

#1 Source Ingredients
We work with local suppliers where possible to source our fresh ingredients, supporting local farmers and businesses. For our spices, we source from Australia as well as the spice provenances India and Vietnam.

#2 Prepare Spices
Using our jumbo stone grain mill we grind our spices such as cloves, cumin, cardamom, turmeric, fennel, and pepper to perfection. These are then added to our heroic mixer “Ying Xiong” to create the perfect blend.

#3 Create Sauces
The ingredients for our sauces are combined and lovingly stirred over a simmering pot. We leave these to slow cook over many hours to develop the rich flavours you know and love. Sauces are then bottled to HACCP standards.

#4 Grains & Flour
This grains used in our spice kits including Basmati rice and Australian red and split yellow lentils are packaged by hand. The flour blend for our Little Bites is also mixed and packaged by hand.

#5 Packaging
We produce all our packaging in Australia. Our colourful boxes are printed by a local business, assembled, and finally filled with your Turban Chopsticks goodies.

#6 Distribution
We send off all our sauces and kits wrapped in love to our awesome stockists including supermarkets and independent grocers. And, sometimes you find us at events and markets!

ECO-FRIENDLY & RECYCLABLE PACKAGING

We care a great deal about where our packaging comes from and where it ends up. All our boxes are made from sustainably sourced materials, totally chlorine free, printed with vegetable based inks, and 100% recyclable. We use predominantly West Australian packaging companies to ‘give back’ to our local community.
